Welcome

The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International is an honor society of over 75,000 key women educators in seventeen countries.            

Alpha Upsilon chapter is located along the Mississippi Gulf Coast and members are from Harrison and Hancock County.  Our members represent all areas of education from the elementary level to the post-secondary level.              

Mission

The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International promotes professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education.

Chapter Meeting

Our next meeting will be March 11 at 10am at the Bay St. Louis Library. We will collect snacks for the Backpack Buddies Program at 28th Street Elementary School and West Elementary School.  Our program will be presented by Mary Shannon Lange. She will discuss the social emotional learning and benefits of Backpack Blessings. During our business meeting we will select new members, and receive a Legislative update. The Kathy Pair Grant-in-Aid recipient and the Undine Thomas Scholarship recipient will be announced. Hostesses are Vickie Chargois, Tina Wolfe, and Linda Jordan.
